New Compilation CD

UPDATE Aug. 20th, 2010 : I still have not received the CD’s Quickstar Productions agreed to send me within 3 to 5 months. If you are considering working with Quickstar or Distrophonix, please read this more recent blog first http://www.havenyates.com/blog/?p=166

I have just sent out my song ‘The Cost’ to be included in a Compilation Project called ‘A Call for Healing,’ which will benefit the fight against malaria in Uganda, Africa. The digital download will be distributed by Quickstar Productions. Here’s what they have to say about it.

“A Call for Healing” is a compilation CD and marketing project brought to you by Quickstar Productions. It is designed to bring together some of America’s best Christian musicians for a common cause, fighting malaria in Uganda, Africa and most importantly spreading the message of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. To learn about the work being done in Uganda please check out www.sttimscatonsville.org We hope you enjoy this project as much as we have enjoyed bringing it to you. “I will give praise to you with instruments of music, O my God, for you are true; I will make songs to you with music, O holy one of Israel.” Psalm 71:22 (BBE)

Every band on the project will be selling a limited number of physical CD’s, so keep an eye out for those. I’ll be sure to schedule a short local tour as soon as I have a batch.
